We are happy to announce that Professor P.P. Betancourt donated his collection of almost 800 thin sections to the Study Center. As a pioneer in collaborative projects and archaeometric studies since the 1970s, Professor Betancourt has enriched our database with thin sections of pottery from many sites in Crete and the Aegean covering the entire Bronze Age.
