In December, Kathy and Matina finished reconstructing the last ceramic vessels from a series of chamber tombs excavated by Nota Dimopoulou between 1999 and 2002 on the hill of Trypiti at Poros. These tombs are from the Neopalatial cemetery of the harbour town of the palace of Knossos.

In 2023 and 2024, the conservators spent many months creating a large assemblage of vessels which can now be studied and published. In total, 742 new vessels were created from three tombs, primarily jugs and cups (i.e. vessels for pouring and drinking).

During conservation Kathy and Matina collected considerable stratigraphic data relating to the use of the tombs. Kathy then investigated this data using software for network visualization, mapping the post-depositional scattering of sherds. Disturbance was particularly intense in one tomb, with many joins between the sherds of all three chambers.
