Kathy Hall and Matina Tzari have finished conserving nearly 2,000 objects excavated by Dr. Metaxia Tsipopoulou in Ceremonial Area 2 of the Minoan cemetery of Kephala Petras. In 2014 our staff spent six months sorting the material, which was then mended over several seasons. This photo shows Matina finishing the last object of what has been the largest conservation project ever undertaken by the lab.
