Carly Henkel and Evi Margaritis have recently published an article, titled “Revisiting the Archaeobotany of Prehistoric Crete”, that will appear in the October 2024 issue of the American Journal of Archaeology. This paper not only synthesizes and discusses prehistoric plant results for the island, but also provides appended presence and absence plant data and relevant bibliographic information for all published archaeobotanical records for Neolithic and Bronze Age Crete, making this paper both a valuable reference and an essential read for all those interested in Minoan archaeology.
